Aim of the Foundation Sir John Eccles: The Foundation aims to safeguard the memory of the life and works of the scientist and philosopher Sir John Eccles by promoting activities, studies, scientific and philosophical research concerning the themes he explored, particularly the mind-brain relationship. The initiatives promoted bring biological data into dialogue with humanistic data on the mind in a scientific-cultural context called “neurohumanities”. The Foundation pursues public benefit purposes.
